About the Telescope MoreSpace Eye is home to the largest telescope in Switzerland, with a mirror diameter of 101 cm. Through direct observations, visitors can discover stars, planets, and other celestial objects up close. In addition, visitors can also tour the historic telescope at the Schaerer Observatory.

In unserem Shop im Untergeschoss findest du Andenken an deine Mission: T-Shirts, Aufkleber, 3D Postkarten und bald auch vieles mehr. Wie im gesamten Space Eye kannst du mit Debitkarte oder Twint bezahlen.
Im Kiosk findest du Kaffee, Tee, Mineralwasser, Softdrinks, kleine Snacks und Süsses. Der Kiosk steht dir während den regulären Öffnungszeiten des Space Eye zur Verfügung. Akzeptiert werden Debitkarten oder Twint.
Traveling Accessibly
There are accessible parking spaces in front of the Space Eye, which are easily accessible by car via Dorfstrasse in Niedermuhlern. The path from the parking spaces to the Space Eye is barrier-free. The parking spaces are reserved exclusively for visitors who have a parking permit for people with mobility impairments.
The Space Eye is wheelchair-accessible. All floors are accessible by elevator, and the basement is equipped with an accessible restroom. Seats for visitors in wheelchairs are available in the planetarium. The ATV area is not fully wheelchair-accessible. The terrace with the telescope is also wheelchair-accessible, but the telescope itself is not accessible. The live images from the telescope can be viewed by all visitors on screens and in the planetarium.
The 3D tour allows you to plan your visit in detail from home. The tour enables you to measure the dimensions of doors and passageways, for example, ensuring that there is sufficient space for wheelchairs.
For blind and visually impaired guests, the audio guide provides all written information. The Space Eye Team is happy to assist with any questions regarding additional needs.
Inductive loop system — Upon request at the reception desk, a sound amplification system is available for the planetarium and the exhibition tour.
The paths around the Space Eye are paved with gravel and are wheelchair-accessible. The platforms on the grounds are also wheelchair-accessible.
